This April is the tenth anniversary of the Barclays Women’s Championship, as we caught up with former player and referee Stacey Pearson to celebrate the milestone.
Stacey featured in the Championship as a player during her time with Yeovil Town, where she made history by becoming the first to score a hat-trick in the division.
After finishing her playing career, Stacey took up the whistle as a referee and she currently officiates in the Barclays Women’s Super League, Championship as well as on the international stage after reaching the FIFA list in 2020.
