Brian Sorensen will look to drive Everton back up the table after recommitting to the club at the tailend of the 2023/24 season.
Having registered finishes of sixth and eighth in his two seasons in charge thus far, the Dane signed a two-year extension to remain at the club beyond the summer.
Sorensen first enjoyed managerial success in his native Denmark, leading Fortuna Hjorring to the Danish Elitedivisionen title in 2014 and 2016 as well as the Champions League quarter-finals in 2016/17.
After a two-year stint at FC Nordsjaelland, he returned to Fortuna Hjorring for one more season before venturing out of his homeland to take charge of the Toffees.
The first permanent presence in the Walton Hall Park dugout since the dismissal of Jean-Luc Vasseur, he greatly improved on Everton’s 10th-place finish from the season before, taking the club back into the top half.
And despite dropping down a couple of places last term, Sorensen goes into his third Barclays WSL campaign ready for rejuvenation with the full backing of the Everton board.
