Former Paris Saint-Germain manager Jocelyn Prêcheur joined London City Lionesses on a new three-year contract ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Prêcheur led PSG to the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals last season and his arrival from across the Channel marks a major coup for the Lionesses.

The 42-year-old led Chinese Women’s Super League side Jiangsu Suning to a historic quadruple in 2019 – his first season as a head coach – and has also clinched the Coupe de France with PSG.

He had a brief spell at Meizhou Hakka before joining PSG as assistant manager in 2022, working under his father and manager Gerard Prêcheur.

After his father parted ways with the club, Prêcheur took over duties and has now made the move to London ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Prêcheur is London City’s sixth permanent head coach and will look to create a high-performance culture across the club.
